Rebuild Jet Drive Units vary in price depending on the parts and blueprint procedures that

are incorporated into the jet drive.  Performance Jet replacement jet drives are offered less

the nozzle assembly and are built to Level II blueprint specifications, with superb attention

to detail by Jim, here at Performance Jet.  These jet drives are installation-ready and come

with the necessary gaskets for installation.  These jets are priced "off the shelf" without trade in.

 

Rebuild Examples:  Late model Legend jet drive rebuilt to Level II plus specification

incorporating a 17-4 PH shaft, DPS S/S inducer, AA aluminum impeller.  The Legend jet has a

CUSTOM FACTORY NEW JET DRIVE

Here is an example of a jet custom built by American Turbine for Performance Jet, in order to meet the special needs of one of his customers.  In this case, the customer was experiencing severe hole shot slip and poor performance with his rebuilt Legend jet drive that was coupled to a 900HP blower motor in his 22-foot jet boat.

 

I wanted to use a High Helix, S/S, AA cut impeller on this jet, but these impellers don't work in a Legend bowl.  The customer wanted to keep the Legend, so we set this up as a Legend/Dominator hybrid.  This build incorporated a Legend suction housing that is made by A/T and has the proper bolt circle to fit the 5th generation Dominator HP bowl.  This housing also had A/T's high load thrust bearing assembly. In this jet is a 17-4 PH shaft, inducer cut to fit a DPS inducer.  The impeller is a High Helix AA cut with the Dominator stuffer system.  A Prime-A-Jet was installed, and the pump was fitted with a long droop snoot and a White Lightning top loader.

 

This customer could not believe the difference in the performance of his boat.  It now has a hard hole shot with six people on board, with much greater mid-range and top-end numbers.
